New Private Wing
No cutting corners as extension opens
The Three Corners Nursing Home celebrated the formal opening of a new extension.
Owners Nick Meyer and David Henson acquired the home on the outskirts of Galmpton last year.
The extension has expanded the number of beds from 40 to 46 and created more single rooms. In addition, the majority of the existing single and double bedrooms have been refurbished completely and two new assisted wet rooms have been installed.
A new lounge area for residents is in the final stages of completion. The opening of the extension was celebrated in the company of local doctors, nurses, Primary Care Trust members, NatWest staff, the residents and their families.
Nick said: "We are thrilled to be opening an enhanced facility for our residents. The extension has increased further the level of care we can provide while also allowing us to make the facilities available to more people."
