Three Corners Project
In April 2009 the major Three Corners project was completed with the opening of a brand new lounge and dining space, and a final three extra bedrooms in the new wing. The home now has 46 beds with more single rooms. All rooms are now of a very high specification with ensuite bathrooms, modern furniture, new floor coverings and bright furnishings.
This final phase phase has included the construction of a vastly improved lounge, dining room and meeting room with quiet, television and reading areas. The result is a brighter, modern feel and it's been given a very positive reception by residents and visitors alike. Also two brand new 'state of the art' wet rooms have just been installed.
The new external laundry which is situated to the rear of the main building and well away from residents is continuing to be very successful. Our team of laundry staff operate this unit from 7am to 7pm ensuring that there is a constant supply of freshly laundered linen, available for the nursing staff.
As you can see from the photograph of the main entrance, it is now bright, airy and very contemporary.
