Care Services
At the heart of what we do is the provision of a comprehensive range of care services to enhance a resident's well-being that provides families with the confidence their loved ones are being looked after in the best possible way.
- Nursing staff: we use a full complement of qualified nursing and care staff to provide round the clock care to cope with all residents' needs. We encourage and support staff to take extra training, whether National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ's), manual handling, infection control or end of life care.
- Individual care plan: all residents are individually assessed both initially and ongoing during their stay at Three Corners. This enables us to design a tailored care plan specific to that resident's needs, formulated between doctors, nurses, residents and their family. The plans address mobility, diet, nutrition and the physiology of the resident.
- Individual respect: we encourage all residents wherever possible to take part in decisions about what they do and when they do it. We respect and indeed encourage individual needs whether for religion, activities or diet.
- Healthcare visitors: we have a full range of healthcare professionals who visit the home ranging from the GP of your choice and including dentists, opticians, chiropodists and a hairdresser.
- Entertainment: we make a resident's stay as enjoyable as possible using a range of agencies to provide entertainment and by arranging outings for groups or individuals. Staff and family are encouraged to participate wherever possible.
- Specialist Areas: there are several areas where we have specialist skills and work with NHS teams to offer enhanced care services. These include dealing with Parkinson disease and end of life care.
